Headed back, about 6 miles out of Deadhorse, get passed by a truck, see another one coming, so pull over and stop. He kicks up a rock, sounds like a baseball bat hitting the rear window, and there you have it. None of the warnings covered this scenario, so we just figured we were not only good looking, but also "special".


Quick trip back to the hardware store, some garbage bags, duct tape, and we're in business.

We figured this was most likely a Gyrfalcon, judging from size at distance (maybe .5 mile), location, and latitude.
